(Brenda Helmbrecht, Dawn Janke, Kathryn Rummell, Bruno Giberti, Linda Bomstad)

Preliminary strategies/plans will be discussed.  This assessment will be a continuation of the writing assessment that was part of the ULO project.  Results were reported in the WASC EER report (WASC.calpoly.edu).  Students showed great writing progress the first year and a leveling off in the second year.  Matt Luskey and the committee will use previous data to see if there are any shifts in performance in grade levels as well as across disciplines.  Writing samples will be collected in winter/spring 2015.

  • University/GE Quantitative Reasoning Assessment (QR)
The QR Learning Community is forming.  Please contact Mary Pedersen if you are interested in being part of this group. (mpederse@calpoly.edu)  We need one representative per college.
